From manual to automatic
“De IJsselmolen is a family business that has been around since 1823,” said Henk. “We import raw materials such as rice, buckwheat and seeds. These raw materials are cleaned, processed, ground, mixed and packaged for transport here. We are a fairly small company that works exclusively for B2B customers.”
“20 years ago, we built a complete new building. This new building also meant renewing our lines. Previously, most of the work was done manually, but we wanted to focus completely on automation. We bought our first machine – a Technipes automatic packaging machine – from Ausloos. A flat film machine followed a few years later.”
