A Bespoke Packaging Line with Intuitive Control for Pasfrost
Case
The client contracted us to come up with a high-speed packaging solution. Their aim was to increase their production capacity from 14 to 15 filled boxes with 10-kg bags per minute. This means that every box needs to be filled, closed and placed back onto the conveyor belt within 4 seconds.
To achieve that, we redesigned the input to be on the left and the eccentric output to be on the right in order to minimise processing time and optimise efficiency. Furthermore, this industry requires a packaging machine that’s not only fast but that’s also extremely reliable and easy to clean to comply with the very strict hygiene standards.

The Essegi F1400 SP machine, a model specifically designed to shape, fill and close bags that are then placed into boxes, proved to be ideal for this task. The machine is made from stainless steel 304 and the product-touching parts from stainless steel 316 – a guarantee that the hygiene standards are met.
