A Mobile Bagging Machine on Wheels for Smile Plastics

Case

Smile Plastics, active in polymer processing and plastic granules wanted to bag plastic powders passing underneath seven different silos, with one single machine. This machine ultimately had to be mobile, easy to clean and comply with the strict ATEX Directives to prevent dust explosions. They had already commissioned us in the past to install a valve bagging machine that they were also very pleased with. Now it was up to us to deliver and confirm the trust they already had in us.

Together with our engineers and designated partners in Italy we managed to work out a fitting solution: a tubular film bagging machine on a motorised platform that moves around on rails placed underneath the silos. We then connected it to an automatic palletising robot and an automatic pallet wrapper that wraps the full pallets completely dustproof. Everything was tailored to their production flow, evidently keeping safety, maintenance and usability in mind.
