An Automatic and Semi-Automatic Packaging Solution for Nenco Food Group

Case

Nenco Food Group is a group of companies with members such as Trouw, De Molukken and Dafco, specialised in products from the food industry. The first, Trouw, focuses on buckwheat products, powders and granules. Second, De Molukken, is a producer of spices and herbs, and Dafco specialises in gluten-free and allergy-friendly products. The group recently took a major step by centralising their production and packaging processes in a new, ultramodern building complex in Berkel en Rodenrijs (the Netherlands).

Packaging

We implemented two main automatic bagging lines and one semi-automatic bagging machine that package granules, herbs and spices, buckwheat products and fine powders. The integrated labellers apply a label to the empty bag, after which the new fully-automatic bagging machines fill and close the bags. Then, the bags, all coming from different lines, are stacked onto pallets. Those pallets are then wrapped with foil so that they can be moved to the warehouse.
