A Turnkey Packaging Line with MES Integration for Agristo
Case
Agristo NV, Belgian producer of frozen food products, delivers to over 120 countries worldwide. Therefore, an efficient packaging process and high-quality packaging material are highly important. They approached Ausloos Verpakkingstechniek for a state-of-the-art packaging solution for their potato flakes. Ausloos Project Manager Jan is happy to share the story of this project with you.

The core of the packaging line is the MTB tubular film bagging machine, model ITN 9, combined with a Winner 600 Green palletising robot from Europack, and a Tosa 123E ring wrapper. The rest of the line consists of high-performance hardware such as metal detectors and checkweighers, specific to the needs and preferences of Agristo. Another important aspect in this project, was the MES integration which allows Agristo to operate machinery from a higher-level production system, and to automatically send the appropriate production parameters to the packaging machines. This positively affected efficiency.
