To replace the old palletiser, we installed a Europack IRB robot to result in a processing line that is significantly faster. This robot is able to palletise more than 1,000 bags per hour and has the flexibility to quickly switch between the different stacking patterns. We also replaced the bag supply lines and belts, and we implemented a system that centres and compresses bags before they are processed by the robot. We replaced the old stretch hooder by a revised Bocedi FB1000 stretch hood packaging machine to better package and protect pallets.
